Mystery Author Extravaganza, 1:00 - 3:00 pm, Reston Regional Library, Reston, Virginia. (Join me and fellow members of the Chessie Chapter of Sisters in Crime as we discuss and sign our latest short stories and books. Books will be available for purchase -  just in time for the holiday!) 

Sept 13

The Breakaways will open for The Randos' performance at Solace Outpost at 8pm. Paul will also be sitting in with The Randos on several songs.

Sept 5

 Noir at the Bar, 7:00 pm, Elaine's Restaurant, Alexandria, Virginia. (Join moderator Jeffrey Higgins and Kathleen Barber, Art Taylor, Kathryn O'Sullivan, Chris Robinson, Ken Lawrence, Mark Bergin, Tom Milani, and me for Elaine's 4th Noir at the Bar! Come for the crime fiction and giveaways, stay for the delicious food!)

 Friday, June 9, 7-9 PM, Valley Road Vineyards 9264 Critzers Shop Road (aka Rt. 151), Afton.

Wines will be available for purchase by the glass and/or bottle, and you're welcome to bring a picnic supper. After each reading, we'll raffle off a book by the reader and a bottle of wine, with a free raffle ticket going to each of the first fifty people to arrive. 


May 13

BICENTENNIAL BONSAI: EMISSARIES OF PEACE screening for World Bonsai Day, 

U.S. National Arboretum, Washington, DC.  Washington, DC premiere film screening.


4:30 - gates to the Bonsai Museum open for after-hours tours

5:00 - koto music, free sake tastings, and pre-ordered bento boxes in the museum

6:00 - film screening in the auditorium followed by Q & A with filmmakers
